On 8 July 2011, 8 opposition members were arrested by Rwandan police
from a bus staging area minutes after an attempted visit to a political
prisoner in the Kimironko detention facility. They were finally released
late night The police spokesperson told the BBC Great Lakes service that
it was suspected they were going to abuse police and call for a prison mutiny if allowed entry.
